Volt is immediately hiring for an Inventory Clerk in Riverside, CA.

As a Inventory Clerk you will:

  • Perform cycle counts and generate inventory reports (dated, bin analysis, etc.).
  • Process customer returns: verify against invoices, obtain vendor authorizations, assess condition, and return to stock/vendor.
  • Issue credits; apply related charges like freight or transfer fees; confirm vendor restocking fees.
  • Remove recalled products; handle dead stock and quarterly returns with timely vendor coordination.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory issues and discrepancies; reconcile purchase orders and address shipment errors.
  • Support a positive team environment and align efforts with company goals.
  • Build strong internal and external communication channels.
  • Learn and represent company products, processes, and culture.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Schedule: Monday- Friday 4am-12:30pm with periodic OT

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of warehouse/inventory experience.
  • Physically able to perform warehouse tasks (lift 50+ lbs., long periods standing/walking).
  • Detail-oriented, safe, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and basic math skills.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with VAI or similar systems is a plus.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
