Volt is immediately hiring for an Inventory Clerk in Riverside, CA.
As a Inventory Clerk you will:
- Perform cycle counts and generate inventory reports (dated, bin analysis, etc.).
- Process customer returns: verify against invoices, obtain vendor authorizations, assess condition, and return to stock/vendor.
- Issue credits; apply related charges like freight or transfer fees; confirm vendor restocking fees.
- Remove recalled products; handle dead stock and quarterly returns with timely vendor coordination.
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues and discrepancies; reconcile purchase orders and address shipment errors.
- Support a positive team environment and align efforts with company goals.
- Build strong internal and external communication channels.
- Learn and represent company products, processes, and culture.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Monday- Friday 4am-12:30pm with periodic OT
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of warehouse/inventory experience.
- Physically able to perform warehouse tasks (lift 50+ lbs., long periods standing/walking).
- Detail-oriented, safe, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication, time management, and basic math skills.
- Strong computer skills; experience with VAI or similar systems is a plus.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
