Position Summary

We are looking for a goal-oriented team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Engineer will provide pre-sale technical support for the Company’s Digital Evidence Management Solutions. The Sales Engineer will support our Business Managers and Proposal Generation team to architect, propose, and present our solutions. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise and strong communications skills to effectively articulate and present our solutions to prospective clients.

Essential Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

● Learn the technical & workflow needs of our Law Enforcement, Corrections and DA clients, and adapt Coreforce solutions to solve.

● Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements.

● Develop and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposals.

● Provide 1st – level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle for opportunities.

● Provide professional responses to customer RFPs/RFIs

● Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical developments and competitive offerings that affect target customers.

● Successfully differentiate Coreforce technology from competitive solutions.

● Capture requested product features and provide feedback to Product Management, Engineering and Marketing teams.

Mandatory Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

● Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.

● Strong adaptive skills, and the ability and desire to keep up with the latest new technologies.

● Effective presentation skills, technical acumen.

● Must have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and ability to working cross-functionally.

● Ability to work in a team environment and individually as needed.

● Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and clients at a time.

● Effective management of time and tasks.

● Flexibility to travel on short notice.

● Must be willing to learn and use Hubspot and/or other applications as determined by the company

● Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Word and Excel

● Must be organized, productive and results-driven

● The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully. This role requires the employee to have the ability to maintain a stationary and an upright position regularly. Regular movement within the office is required to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other resources. This role involves continuous operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, tools, including a printer, and computer. Regularly, the employee changes their body position to assist in moving objects or gaining access to items. The capacity to convey information and concepts effectively for mutual understanding must be possessed by the employee. They must also possess the capability to share precise details during such interactions. Specific vision capabilities, particularly the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer), are essential for performing tasks accurately. This role involves the occasional transportation of boxes weighing between a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 30 pounds throughout the office to fulfill diverse demands. The employee occasionally carries out their responsibilities while being exposed to various outdoor weather conditions.
