We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team for transporting general freight and perishable goods across regional and interstate routes. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe operation of the vehicle, timely deliveries, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles safely and efficiently over regional and interstate routes
- Navigate routes to ensure timely delivery of cargo
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance standards
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Manage fuel consumption and refueling schedules
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers
- Effectively manage time to meet delivery deadlines
- Engage professionally with customers during deliveries
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Proficient in route planning and vehicle inspection
- Experience handling diverse cargo types
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Skilled in logbook management
