Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a critical need role in Honolulu, HI.

This is a part-time inpatient acute position, ideal for clinicians with strong experience in swallowing disorders and acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

• Provide treatment for patients with:

  • Dysphagia

  • Cognitive-communication disorders

  • Speech and language impairments

• Conduct and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Hawaii SLP License

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute experience (REQUIRED)

• MBSS Certification (REQUIRED)

Assignment Details

• Schedule:

  • Monday (7 hrs)

  • Tuesday (6 hrs)

  • Friday (7 hrs)

• Total: ~20 hours per week

• Setting: Inpatient Acute Care

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Start Date: 01/05/2026
