Job DescriptionBilingual Accounting Clerk

$23.14/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (4/10 workweek, 30-minute lunch)
Assignment Duration: Up to 6 months
We are seeking a qualified Accounting Technician to temporarily join our Finance Department and help cover a vacancy during our recruitment process. This is a full-time, temporary role for up to 6 months with a consistent 4-day workweek.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform accounting support functions in accounts receivable/payable, cashiering, and utility billing
Review and prepare accounts payable documentation and invoices
Maintain subsidiary ledgers, reconcile reports, post entries, and prepare General Ledger reports
Prepare and reconcile month-end reports
Enter data and generate reports based on established formats
Research and assemble information for reports and forms
Provide information to the public or internal departments regarding policies and procedures
Manage utility account functions including billing, collections, deposits, and service setup
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Must have 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
