Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled pediatric CT/X-Ray Technologist opportunity is available in the Denver, CO area. This 13-week contract offers the chance to advance your pediatric imaging expertise while enjoying the vibrant city life and nearby outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing near the Rockies.

Schedule/Hours

  • 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend shifts required: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • On-call every 5th weekend (subject to change)
  • May float to a secondary campus within 35 miles for CT or X-Ray coverage

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist certification
  • ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Technologist certification
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 3 years of imaging experience, including pediatric cases
  • Proficient in high-quality pediatric imaging and radiation safety principles such as ALARA and the Image Gently Campaign
  • Experience with IV placement, vascular access, and managing extravasation

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic pediatric imaging with accuracy and safety
  • Manage patient flow efficiently, including urgent and STAT cases
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Administer contrast agents safely and verify their clinical necessity
  • Maintain proficiency with EMR, RIS, and PACS imaging systems
  • Adhere to all quality assurance and safety protocols

  • Must work at least 20% of scheduled shifts in secondary radiology modalities
  • No return to office approval during the first two weeks
