A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 100-bed Level III trauma center in a hospital setting. This role involves providing pharmaceutical care in both inpatient and outpatient/clinic environments, utilizing systems such as EPIC and Pyxis. The position requires flexible travel to Kearny, NE, and offers an immediate start.

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm)
• Department of Pharmacy open to alternative block scheduling (e.g., 7 days on/7 days off or 8 days on/6 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within the hospital and outpatient clinic settings
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy
• Monitor patient responses to medication and provide education as needed
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for order verification and inventory management
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in hospital pharmacy operations, including familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

This travel assignment is anticipated to last 13 weeks or more. Candidates must be willing to relocate to fulfill the travel assignment requirements.
