Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Aurora, CO, serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek with a consistent schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-8 students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Provide counseling and intervention services as needed.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-8 students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and interventions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families and educational professionals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
