Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Gravette, Arkansas, is seeking a PRN Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medication Therapy department.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and reporting to the Outpatient Services Manager, plays a vital role in the management of all nursing aspects within the Medication Therapy department. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services that address the psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients, ensuring effective communication with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Arkansas or Compact Licensure State.
  • Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.
  • Current CARE certification upon hire or CARE certification must be obtained during orientation period or at the next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current CARE certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
  • Current ACLS certification upon hire or ACLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at the next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current ACLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
