Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with a CCC and qualified for school settings to provide vital services in a K-12 educational environment. This contractual leave position is based in Wilkes Barre, PA, and offers the chance to support students' communication development during an important transition period.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create comprehensive support systems
- Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language services in schools
- Documenting progress and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligibility and/or certification as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with families and educators
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently with professionalism and attention to individualized needs
