Social Worker/Therapist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday (PHP/IOP Program Hours)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Therapist II to join a growing behavioral health team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position provides individual, family, and group therapy services within a structured Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based mental health treatment, excels in a collaborative environment, and is committed to helping clients achieve meaningful recovery and long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions in accordance with program schedules.

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Complete discharge planning, progress notes, contact logs, and clinical documentation.

Monitor and document ongoing client progress, behaviors, and treatment outcomes.

Implement appropriate therapeutic interventions based on individual client needs.

Facilitate specialized therapeutic groups based on training and experience.

Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when needed.

Maintain professional therapeutic relationships while establishing appropriate boundaries.

Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinical staff, case managers, referral sources, and family members.
Administrative Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and clinical protocols.

Attend required clinical, operational, and training meetings.
-
Complete all assigned trainings and continuing education requirements.
Required Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in: Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology
-
Active North Carolina clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, & LMHC)

Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience
-
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with clients with primary mental health diagnoses

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in PHP, IOP, residential treatment, or behavioral health settings
-
Experience facilitating group therapy
-
Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities
-
Experience working within multidisciplinary treatment teams
