PPE is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team on a per diem basis at Carewell Health in E. Orange, NJ
Carewell Medical Center is a boutique community hospital serving Essex County, a place where every patient is family. Formerly known as East Orange General Hospital, we are the sole independent, acute care hospital in Essex County.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage patients with acute illnesses and injuries
</li>
<li>
Perform focused physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
</li>
<li>
Initiate treatment plans and procedures under physician supervision
</li>
<li>
Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
Current NJ PA license &amp; NCCPA certification
</li>
<li>
Emergency Medicine or urgent care experience preferred
</li>
<li>
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
</li>
</ul>
