Your exceptional technical skills will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, accurate technical drawings and schematics to support the design and construction process. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability and willingness to progress from basic drafting work assignments to more complicated and involved design projects working in conjunction with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and schematics for commercial electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Interpret design specifications, engineering calculations, and project requirements to develop detailed, dimensioned drawings

  • Maintain an organized file management system and drawing archive
  • Stay up to date on the latest AutoCAD features, commands, and best practices
  • Assist with revisions, updates, and modifications to drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Exhibit a customer-centric mindset, proactively addressing client concerns and providing outstanding service
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator who is receptive to feedback and eager to learn, with a proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented role

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter, with a focus on commercial facilities and electrical engineering projects
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, including 2D and 3D modeling, annotations, and layering
  • Autodesk Revit experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, desire to learn, and a strong work ethic
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail and quality control
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
  • This is an in-office position (not a remote work position)
