Job DescriptionOur client, a top national broker, is actively seeking a Senior Manager of Benefits Underwriting to direct the financial team on large, self-funded clients in the region. Responsibilities include managing and delegating, training, overseeing financial analyses and reporting, and developing creative work solutions for the team and each client at a high level. Will also be primary contact with actuarial associates on projections and filings. Must have 8+ years in group benefits with at least 3 in management, come from a brokerage/consulting firm and/or carrier, excellent underwriting and actuarial knowledge (doesn’t have to be an actuary), communications, organizational skills, and licensed in Life and Health.
