Compensation

Travel Candidates: $69 – $70 per hour

Local Candidates: $54 – $56 per hour
Position Overview
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by positioning and explaining the process

Operate radiographic equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images

Use immobilization devices and ensure proper patient positioning

Apply radiation safety measures to minimize exposure to patients and staff

Follow established infection control policies and procedures

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow

Maintain a safe, clean, and effective working environment
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to maintain quality standards and patient safety
Certifications & Licensure
-
BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
-
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)

ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
