Job Title: X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift (5x8)

• Timing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation

• Travel Candidates: $69 – $70 per hour

• Local Candidates: $54 – $56 per hour

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by positioning and explaining the process

• Operate radiographic equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images

• Use immobilization devices and ensure proper patient positioning

• Apply radiation safety measures to minimize exposure to patients and staff

• Follow established infection control policies and procedures

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Maintain a safe, clean, and effective working environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain quality standards and patient safety

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
