A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Instrument Test Technician 1 in a manufacturing/production environment.

Instrument Test Technician 1 Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates


Instrument Test Technician 1 Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, Day Shift


Instrument Test Technician 1 Responsibilities

  • Perform production assembly operations, system analysis, testing, and performance optimization
  • Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting on non-functioning test equipment
  • Analyze test results and determine pass/fail outcomes; provide solutions when failures occur
  • Build, integrate, and understand full instrument assembly processes
  • Perform functional and release testing on moderately complex instruments
  • Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements
  • Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
  • Provide training and support to associates as needed
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams
  • Process and disposition Quality Notifications (QNs)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with GMP
  • Perform standard material handling functions for raw materials and sub-assemblies
  • Follow all BD safety, housekeeping, and quality policies
  • Work overtime as required to meet business needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3.5 years of manufacturing experience OR an AA technical degree with relevant skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, bits, etc.)
  • Ability to read drawings and measure dimensions accurately
  • Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple production orders and frequent assignment changes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic PC skills and familiarity with a Windows environment
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring or training others
  • Experience supporting Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
