A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Instrument Test Technician 1 in a manufacturing/production environment.

Instrument Test Technician 1 Compensation
- The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Instrument Test Technician 1 Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Instrument Test Technician 1 Responsibilities
- Perform production assembly operations, system analysis, testing, and performance optimization
- Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting on non-functioning test equipment
- Analyze test results and determine pass/fail outcomes; provide solutions when failures occur
- Build, integrate, and understand full instrument assembly processes
- Perform functional and release testing on moderately complex instruments
- Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements
- Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
- Provide training and support to associates as needed
- Support Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams
- Process and disposition Quality Notifications (QNs)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with GMP
- Perform standard material handling functions for raw materials and sub-assemblies
- Follow all BD safety, housekeeping, and quality policies
- Work overtime as required to meet business needs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3.5 years of manufacturing experience OR an AA technical degree with relevant skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, bits, etc.)
- Ability to read drawings and measure dimensions accurately
- Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple production orders and frequent assignment changes
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic PC skills and familiarity with a Windows environment
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring or training others
- Experience supporting Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
