As a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, you will play a crucial role in managing, organizing, and administering nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assessing data regarding the patient's physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs based on age and development
- Reporting and documenting all observed symptoms, reactions, and changes in the patient's condition
- Utilizing the nursing process to direct and deliver patient care, including developing, implementing, revising, and evaluating a formal plan of care
- Administering medications using the "Five Rights of Medication Administration"
- Providing and instructing patients and/or their families with educational information appropriate for age and learning abilities
- Creating and maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for patients, families, and visitors
- Organizing and prioritizing daily assignments to provide optimal patient care
- Demonstrating competency annually in assigned areas of work
- Maintaining patient and employee confidentiality at all times
- Complying with the facility's Code of Conduct
- For Charge Nurse roles: Assigning staff, coaching, leading performance improvement teams, and responding to emergencies

Requirements for this role include:

- Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.), Associate's degree (A.D.N.), or Diploma from an accredited college of nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Need 1 year experience in setting
