Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) who is passionate about making a positive difference in the academic and social lives of children and adolescents. The assignment begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, aligning with the traditional school year.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Current and active Florida SLP license issued by the Department of Health
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Capable of serving flexible caseloads and working across several school sites within the district
• Completed or ability to complete Florida background fingerprinting per school requirements – familiarity with the AHCA Clearinghouse process is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other specialists

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students ranging from preschool through high school, varying by assignment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress reports
• Participate in eligibility assessments, multidisciplinary meetings, and data collection
• Provide support and resources to staff and families
• Travel between multiple school locations within the county as assigned
