- 2 years current/recent federal/government contracting experience
- Experience working with Procore, Bluebeam and other scheduling software
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple roofing installation and repair projects for government and commercial properties. This role involves managing all phases of construction projects—from pre-construction planning through completion—while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to complete projects safely, on schedule, and within specifications.
- Define project scope, set timelines, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets; track and manage financial performance.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee procurement of materials and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare project billings and follow up on collections as needed.
- Analyze project performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably with government or public sector projects.
- OSHA 30, EM 385 1-1, and CQM certifications strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience with commercial roofing systems (single-ply, standing-seam, asphalt, cold/hot applied, metal) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to forecast based on financial data.
- Proficiency with project management and cost software (Procore experience preferred).
- Ability to interpret specifications and drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
