Special Education Teacher Boston, MA (School Setting, Travel Required)

Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves working directly with students who have special needs, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and families. The position also requires travel between school locations to provide consistent instructional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized instruction tailored to students unique learning requirements
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student development
  • Manage behavior interventions and create supportive classroom environments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and IEP compliance
  • Travel between assigned school sites to ensure proper service delivery

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state certification in Special Education teaching
  • Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and learning challenges
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional approaches based on student needs
  • Willingness to travel between schools as required
