We are seeking a skilled and motivated IV Tech to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Position Overview: If you are skilled with IV placement, great with patient care, and looking to expand your career in a unique clinical setting, we want to hear from you! As an IV Tech at Edelica Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a unique and supportive environment. The position is part-time, 2-3 days per week, with flexible days to work with your schedule. You will be working closely with patients undergoing infusion therapy and nerve block procedures at our private clinic. Your expertise with IV's and patient monitoring will be essential in ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform IV insertions with exceptional skill and precision.
- Monitor and record patients' blood pressure and vital signs throughout their treatment.
- Set up and turn over treatment rooms for IV infusions and stellate ganglion nerve blocks.
- Assist in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks by preparing sterile supplies and equipment.
- Manage the ultrasound machine (training provided).
- Draw up medications within your scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Maintain inventory and order medical supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with IV insertion and patient monitoring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
- Experience in mental health settings is a plus, but not required.
