Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students in a dynamic K-12 educational setting with a role designed for experienced paraprofessionals dedicated to special education services. This position is based in Ventura, CA, and offers the opportunity to work under a contract for the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Fully credentialed paraprofessional status is a must.
- At least 2 full years of hands-on experience as a school paraprofessional, Behavioral Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or a closely related role.
- Extensive special education experience is required without exception.
- Flexibility to support any age group or caseload within the K-12 spectrum.
- Willingness to assist with toileting and diapering care as needed.
- Punctuality is essential, with strict adherence to signing in and out to ensure proper recording of hours worked.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to students with special needs across various age groups.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement educational and behavioral plans.
- Monitor and report on student progress through accurate timesheets and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
- Adapt to diverse classroom settings and student requirements.
