Job DescriptionTransportation Coordinator (Temp?to?Hire)

Pay: $23-26/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Standard business hours

Location: Onsite

Overview

We are seeking a detail?oriented Transportation Coordinator to support daily logistics operations for a growing organization. This temp?to?hire role will focus on coordinating shipments from multiple distribution centers to customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost?effective transportation execution.

?Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments from multiple distribution centers to customers
  • Schedule and track shipments to ensure on?time delivery
  • Communicate with carriers, distribution centers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP systems to manage shipment data, routing, and documentation
  • Monitor shipment performance and proactively address delays or exceptions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to transportation activities
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within transportation and logistics operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination (1-2 years)
  • Hands?on experience using TMS and ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem?solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast?paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools preferred

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
