Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join Baby Steps as a Medical Receptionist in Daytona Beach, FL, where you'll be the first point of contact for our valued patients. Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Verify insurance information and process patient registrations.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance providers.
  • Prepare and organize patient charts for daily appointments.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an OB medical receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office software.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and billing practices is advantageous.
  • Must be bilingual - Spanish/English
