Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join Baby Steps as a Medical Receptionist in Daytona Beach, FL, where you'll be the first point of contact for our valued patients. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Verify insurance information and process patient registrations.
- Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance providers.
- Prepare and organize patient charts for daily appointments.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as an OB medical receptionist or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office software.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient care.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and billing practices is advantageous.
- Must be bilingual - Spanish/English
