Job Title: Logistics Clerk — 1st Shift
Location: Fontana, CA
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to support operations at a fast-paced Food Distribution Center. This role is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving documentation, tracking inventory movement, and assisting with daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse or distribution environment. Medical, dental, and AD&D benefits are available.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
- Enter and track data in logistics or warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors
- Verify inventory, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork
- Respond to emails, calls, or inquiries related to shipments
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Follow all safety and food handling guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous logistics, clerical, or warehouse admin experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment
This position operates in a distribution center environment and may require time spent in warehouse areas. Conditions may include varying temperatures depending on food storage requirements.
