Job Description
Job Description
About Us
As a physician-led entity, our organization combines the independence and close-knit atmosphere of a private practice with the robust resources of a prominent national healthcare system.
Advance Your Career!
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Board-certified/board-eligible Critical Care Physician to become part of our Cardiac Critical Care team in Muskegon, MI. This role presents an exciting chance to significantly contribute to the health of our community while thriving in a supportive, mission-oriented setting.
About The Program
Our organization is initiating an intensivist-led Cardiac Critical Care program along the Lakeshore. This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a founding physician and help shape a state-of-the-art cardiac ICU in collaboration with an outstanding cardiac care team. This unit, consisting of 10 beds and staffed by intensivists around the clock, will provide comprehensive care for high-acuity cardiac patients, including those recovering from open-heart surgery, experiencing cardiogenic shock, facing STEMI/high-risk ACS, and selected structural heart cases. The care model aligns with regional community standards, replacing fragmented co-management with cohesive, expert-led critical care.
Why We Are Building This
We aim to align care delivery to ensure consistent hemodynamic and metabolic management, streamline decision-making, reduce variability, and enhance outcomes for critically ill cardiac patients. Clinical leaders from cardiac surgery, cardiology, and hospital medicine have supported this transition to an intensivist-led approach.
