Overview:

This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Supervisor of the service. The primary responsibility is to function as a Registered Nurse, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will coordinate patient services alongside various departments and manage the organization and execution of tasks within your designated specialty area. Efficiently coordinating workflow, including room preparation and turnover, as well as ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment before procedures, is essential. Additionally, you may serve in a staff capacity as needed, providing coverage during breaks and lunches. You will also assist with operational support tasks and help orient new colleagues and permanent team members in partnership with the Supervisor and the OR Nurse Clinician.

Overview:

The Center for Performance Medicine offers cutting-edge outpatient surgical care. With 10 operating rooms, 2 minor procedure rooms, and 1 cystoscopy suite, it stands as one of the largest surgical centers in the nation, equipped with the latest technology.

Our surgical specialties encompass orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, and general surgery.

In addition to the operating rooms, the center features its own pre/post-operative area, PACU, a 23-hour stay area, SPD, and supply chain management.

Our caregivers enjoy the benefit of no weekend shifts, no holiday work, and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an Operating Room as a Registered Nurse.

  • Required Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution.

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • License: Valid RN license in the state.

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
