Essential Duties:
- Plans and manages day-to-day activities of BRH’s purchasing, materials distribution, and inventory management functions to ensure the timely flow of goods.
- Serves as primary liaison between supply chain and clinical departments to fulfill product requests, ensure goods are delivered on time, support accurate demand forecasting, and resolve availability issues promptly.
- Manages procurement activities—including GPO management, bidding, and direct purchasing—ensuring compliance with BRH standards and federal/state regulations; conducts purchasing audits; and collaborates with departments to adjust processes and support accurate demand forecasting.
- Serves as primary liaison between supply chain and clinical departments to fulfill product requests, ensure goods are delivered on time, support accurate demand forecasting, and resolve availability issues promptly.
- Leads value analysis initiatives to improve product utilization, delivery efficiency, and supply availability.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, supply chain, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials management required; leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Professional credentials such as CSCP or Lean Six Sigma preferred, experience with Multiview ERP or similar systems beneficial
- Demonstrates strong leadership, decision‑making, and interpersonal communication skills, effectively engaging vendors, department leaders, and peer employees
- Applies advanced knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations; proficient with materials management information systems, spreadsheets, inventory software, and healthcare‑specific applications, with a commitment to ongoing technological skill development
