Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in the Phoenix metropolitan area, this opportunity offers a contract position for a School Psychologist serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The role focuses on providing psychological services within several specialized academic and resource classrooms, supporting a diverse student population with cross-categorical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations including initial assessments and re-evaluations for a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Offer consultation and support for self-contained cross categorical academic classrooms (K-5), a foundational academics classroom (6-8), and resource classrooms.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to promote student success.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with district and legal requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed School Psychologist with experience conducting evaluations and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and best practices in public health psychology as applied in educational settings.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and effectively prioritize tasks within a structured school schedule.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with school personnel and families.

Position Details:

  • Contract duration: Immediate start through May 2026
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, 5 days per week
