Job DescriptionLHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is a chance to join a dynamic organization known for its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. As a key member of the engineering team, you will drive process innovation, support new product launches, and help shape the future of production in a fast-paced environment. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $65,000 – 75,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefit (Medical/dental/vision) and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and refine manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and product quality.
· Conduct workflow analysis and time studies to identify improvement opportunities.
· Lead root cause investigations to resolve production challenges.
· Collaborate with teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
· Specify and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment for production needs.
· Support automation and equipment upgrades to enhance safety and productivity.
· Maintain accurate documentation for processes, machine settings, and work instructions.
· Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability.
· Provide technical support and mentorship to production teams and junior staff.
· Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering with business objectives.
· Assist with first article inspections and process validation for new launches.
· Monitor and report on key performance indicators for manufacturing operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering is required
· Minimum of 1.5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within the manufacturing industry is required
