A healthcare facility in Seattle, WA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations on a contract basis. This role involves providing expert clinical knowledge to optimize medication use and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication therapies• Monitor patient responses and adjust medication plans as needed• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making
Desired Experience and Qualifications:• Licensed Pharmacist with a valid pharmacy license• Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting preferred• Thorough understanding of drug interactions, side effects, and dosage guidelines• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Proficient with pharmacy software and electronic medical records
