Hands-on Supervisor at a fast-paced, modern equipped, stone manufacturing plant. Great benefits and room for growth. Responsibilities include monitoring shop intake of shop orders, seeing through that production of products in on schedule and meeting shop order details, enforcing a safe environment, effectively managing logistics for products readiness for packaging and dispatch, meeting schedules, and offering a high-level quality of the products produced. Tasks will result in an efficient workflow, reduce losses, and successful supply of products to the field workforce. Work closely with the production team, shop management, warehouse and project management to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operations of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide positive and motivational supervision.
• Successfully steer the day-to-day products from intake to site delivery.
• Maintaining the company's quality standards and offer continued improvements.
• Responsible for identifying any production constraints and assist in finding solutions to meet schedules.
• Maintain safety program in associated work areas.
• Meet with project managers and construction teams on job sites as needed.
• Understand workforce changes as required and in accordance with the workload.
• Review shop drawings and cut tickets prior to fabrication to ensure understanding during QC inspections.
• Assure tools and machinery maintenance and logs are current.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (granite, millwork, finish metals etc.)

· Ability to create, read and review shop orders, details for fabrication.

· Experience operating hand power tools a plus

· Familiarity with tools.

· Good English and Spanish language, English writing.

· Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies.
