Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery of outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse or receiving area for efficient workflow.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to supervisors.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management software beyond basic data entry
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to logistics
• Basic understanding of customs documentation for international shipments
