An opportunity is available for an experienced registered nurse specializing in psychiatric care to provide expert nursing support in an adult forensic and intensive unit setting. This role requires someone confident and highly skilled in managing complex psychiatric cases, particularly within co-occurring disorders involving substance use and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess individual and group patient care needs.
- Apply the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care for patients with complex psychiatric and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers to ensure safe, effective, and therapeutic care delivery.
- Support patients in a 24-hour inpatient program designed to promote healing and recovery, focusing on sobriety maintenance and psychiatric stabilization.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license with psychiatric nursing experience.
- Proven ability to work in high-acuity forensic or intensive psychiatric care settings.
- Expertise in co-occurring disorders treatment, including medically assisted withdrawal and stabilization.
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills to supervise care staff effectively.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract position.
- Immediate start is required; candidates must be available to begin on 1/5 without exceptions.
- Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility may be subject to adjusted compensation terms.
