Schedule:
Union Shifts (Monday–Friday):
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $80–$82 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in New York, NY. This role is responsible for the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment

Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with established protocols

Educate patients and families on procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding

Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards

Accurately document procedures, patient data, and imaging results

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support optimal patient care
Equipment
-
Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT
Requirements
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB Certification (required)

Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT)

New York State Radiologic Technologist License

BCLS Certification (required)
Education

Associate Degree required
