Overview:-
We're seeking an Electrical Design Technician to develop and manage detailed electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, on-time design deliverables. Use drafting software to create and revise documentation, and support power system studies through data collection and modeling. Candidates should be detail-oriented and ready to contribute to high-quality, compliant electrical designs.
What we're looking for

Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, one-line drawings, and panel layouts.

Use AutoCAD or EPLAN to draft and update design documentation.

Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into accurate, buildable designs.

Maintain revision control and ensure up-to-date as-built documentation.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel for design input and validation.

Support arc flash studies and power system analysis using SKM software.

Collect field data to ensure accuracy in modeling and compliance reporting.

Assist in generating arc flash reports, labels, and documentation per NFPA 70E standards.
Requirements:-

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

1-3 years of experience in electrical drafting or design, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred); EPLAN experience is a plus.

Solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and industrial control panels.

Ability to create and interpret electrical documentation, including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and cable schedules.

Familiarity with power system analysis software such as SKM or EasyPower is preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams.

What We Offer:

Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000
