Lead a high-performing kitchen at one of Baltimore's premier chef-driven seafood restaurants.
We're seeking a hands-on Sous Chef with exceptional leadership skills to join an established culinary team at a highly respected, high-volume seafood concept in Baltimore. This is an outstanding opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen and is ready to take ownership of daily operations while working alongside an experienced Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

What You'll Do
- Lead kitchen operations during service with confidence and professionalism
- Serve as the kitchen leader in the Executive Chef's absence
- Coach, mentor, and develop BOH team members while maintaining accountability
- Ensure consistent execution of high-quality, scratch-made menu items
- Oversee prep production, ordering, inventory, and kitchen organization
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Help drive efficiency while creating a positive, team-oriented culture
- Work closely with leadership to continuously improve kitchen operations
What We're Looking For
- Previous Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred
- High-potential Kitchen Managers or Lead Line Chefs with strong leadership experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with scratch kitchens and quality-driven food programs
- Ability to lead by example and earn the respect of the team
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing service, prep, inventory, and ordering
- Passion for hospitality, consistency, and attention to detail

Schedule
- Primarily dinner-focused schedule
- Combination of dinner services, one lunch shift, and one prep/administrative day
- Opportunity for two consecutive days off when scheduling allows
Compensation & Benefits
- $65,000–$75,000 base salary
- Higher compensation considered for exceptional candidates
