We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and help us maintain our financial records with precision.
Job Description:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial operations. You will handle everything from accounts payable and receivable to payroll, general ledger management, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and related tax filings
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Handle general ledger entries and adjustments
- Monitor and analyze cash flow
- Coordinate with external accountants for year-end financials and tax preparations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a small to mid-sized business
- Proficiency in accounting software for multiple locations. Sage Business Works preferred but not required
- 2 year minimum accounting degree
- 2-5 years experience in similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax filings, and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the team
