Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CNC machining operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce high-quality parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Train and mentor junior machinists, providing guidance on best practices and techniques.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and workflows.
• Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in operating CNC lathes and mills, with a strong understanding of G-code programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
