\n\nJob Requirements (Qualifications)\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience; telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac monitoring experience required\n
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license in hand prior to start\n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
- Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response protocols\n
- Ability to float within scope to other units as needed\n
- First-time travel nurses accepted\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n
- Must be able to work every other weekend (non-negotiable)\n
\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n

- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
- Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms; manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid clinical changes\n
- Administer medications, manage peripheral IV lines, and provide oxygen therapy per orders\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n
- Maintain precise clinical documentation using Epic EMR\n
- Adhere to isolation precautions, infection control, and PPE protocols\n
- Float to other units within scope when required to meet patient care needs\n
