Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, properly dating and rotating, and storing products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices. Responsible for delivering various products to various departments on continuous basis, or according to a delivery schedule, or by requisitions/kit. Decant products following FIFO practices, accurately record liquor/beer/wine usage on daily liquor decanting log, handle food according to HACCP Guidelines. Must keep work area/department clean and organized. Breaks down cardboard and follows the recycling process. Must work safely following safety guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent performance, attendance, and safety record
- Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
- Must be able to date product and verify information
- Must be able to work in hot or cold environment
- Must be able to work around moving equipment and wet floors
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and push up to 100 lbs (on rolling stock)
- Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift
- Must be able to use electrical and manual pallet jack
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Days off subject to change due to shift bidding
- Previous forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred
