Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent health institution, is seeking a GYN oncologist to become part of our collegial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care for women diagnosed with gynecologic cancers, encompassing evaluation, diagnosis, surgical intervention, and the coordination of multidisciplinary treatment strategies.
• Engage in a collaborative atmosphere alongside Obstetric Gynecologists, GYN-only specialists, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and palliative care providers.
• Execute complex oncologic surgical procedures, including both minimally invasive robotic techniques and traditional open surgeries.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards, care conferences, and treatment planning sessions.
• Contribute to the HIPEC program.
• Work schedule includes 2 clinic days per week, 1-2 days dedicated to OR/Robotics, and 1 flexible day.
• Conduct surgeries primarily at a major hospital, with clinic operations located in a beautifully renovated mill building nearby.
• Explore opportunities to practice in Newport, RI, or Fall River, MA.
• Educate residents and medical students through an academic appointment with a prestigious university.
• H1B visa sponsorship available.
• Eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a subspecialty in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration.
• Experience in complex surgical procedures.
