\nConnected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare provider near in Palm Springs, California to hire a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week pediatric outpatient contract. This is an exciting opportunity to earn up to $2,700 per week (based on experience) while working in a vibrant Southern California community.

\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n\t
• Implement individualized treatment plans and select therapeutic modalities to meet established goals\n\t
• Provide prescribed speech therapy treatments to facilitate rehabilitation of pediatric patients\n\t
• Assist in evaluating patient progress and recommend appropriate discharge planning\n\t
• Conduct and assist with patient activities while maintaining accurate and timely documentation\n\t
• Demonstrate compliance with Code of Conduct and organizational compliance policies\n\t
• Perform evaluations and establish treatment plans based on age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs\n\t
• Ensure compliance with hospital licensing, accreditation standards, and the Speech Therapy Practice Act\n\t
• Provide effective therapy treatments and appropriately delegate procedures and modalities\n\t
• Deliver safe and comprehensive discharge planning\n\t
• Meet departmental productivity standards\n\t
• Provide thorough, timely, professional, and consistent patient care\n

\nEducation Requirements\n\n

\n\t
• Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy (ST) or Speech-Language Pathology\n

\nLicensure & Certification Requirements\n\n

\n\t
• Licensed by the Speech Therapy Board of the State of California\n\t
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification\n

\nExperience Requirements\n\n

\n\t
• Preferred experience in speech therapy or healthcare setting\n\t
• Pediatric outpatient experience highly desirable\n
