Job Summary
The Meeting Support Specialist is responsible for setting up training rooms and event spaces, providing audio-visual (A/V) assistance, and supporting Floor Hosts as needed. This role ensures meeting spaces are fully prepared, equipment is functioning, and guests receive a seamless experience.
Shift: 6am-3pm
Key Responsibilities
- Set up training and conference rooms based on client specifications, including layouts and special requests
- Move airwalls to adjust room sizes; secure and tape down any necessary cabling
- Distribute training materials and clean up leftover materials after meetings
- Ensure rooms meet client expectations for lighting, temperature, supplies, and A/V functionality
- Return equipment and supplies to proper storage after use
- Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email in a courteous and professional manner
- Monitor meeting spaces to ensure accuracy of room bookings and participant counts; address no-shows as needed
- Conduct regular floor tours to maintain optimal appearance and readiness of all meeting areas
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and offer creative solutions
- Accurately document and report all customer interactions
- Follow all company and client policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and development
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, or customer service preferred
- Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and A/V equipment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
