Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility, located in Miami FL 33186, Miami FL 33176
This is a 6+ month TEMP-TO-HIRE job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Miami FL 33186, Miami FL 33176
Schedule: M-F 5:00am-2:30pm, Rotational Saturdays 6:00am-11:00am (40hours/week)
M-F 1:00pm-5:00pm, EVERY Saturday 6:00am-1:00pm and potential Sundays (29hours/week)
Pay Range: $19.85 - $22.06 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
- Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
- One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
