Job Details
Responsibilities:
As an FP&A Senior Manager, you will be tasked with the following:
1. Lead the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
2. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
3. Work closely with the executive team to provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, and cost identification and allocation.
4. Manage the preparation and delivery of presentations on financial forecasts, quarterly financial reviews, and related topics for senior management and investors.
5. Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
6. Assess the company’s performance against both the annual budget and company’s long-term strategy.
7. Develop insights and analyses to improve company profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or relevant certification (CFA/CPA) is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
4. Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
5. Familiarity with financial and accounting software systems.
6. In-depth knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
7. Proficient in MS Excel and financial software applications.
8. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
9. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial managers.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
11. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
