Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW).

• Approval as a School Social Worker from the Michigan Department of Education.

• Current LMSW or LLMSW license.

• Familiarity with Michigan special education regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

• Participate in special education evaluations, IEP development, and crisis response.

• Build partnerships with families and connect students to outside community resources.

• Promote a safe and supportive learning environment across grade levels.
