Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM
Duration: 28 Weeks
Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role supports children and individuals with developmental, behavioral, or communication needs across home, school, or clinical settings using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices.
Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA

Collect, document, and report accurate behavioral data, progress notes, and session outcomes

Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills using ABA methodologies

Manage and respond to challenging behaviors using approved behavior intervention strategies

Support clients in designated environments including home, school, or clinical settings

Maintain consistent communication with supervisors, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional guidelines

Participate in ongoing training, supervision sessions, team meetings, and competency assessments
Qualifications
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Ability to follow behavior plans and maintain accurate documentation

Strong communication, observational, and interpersonal skills
-
Patience and ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental or behavioral needs
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field

Previous experience providing ABA therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Experience in home-based, school-based, or clinical environments
