About the Role

We are seeking a driven Account Manager to grow and manage relationships with plumbing contractors, mechanical firms, and commercial accounts across our territory. This role is ideal for a relationship-builder who understands the plumbing supply business and enjoys being out in the field helping customers win more work through better product, pricing, and service.


You will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts while identifying new opportunities for growth across plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical trades.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of contractor, commercial, and project-based accounts
  • Develop new business with plumbing and mechanical contractors, builders, and facilities teams
  • Promote a full line of plumbing supplies, fixtures, valves, pipe, fittings, and equipment
  • Provide job-site, estimating, and product support to customers
  • Work closely with inside sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery
  • Identify project opportunities and bid activity in your territory
  • Conduct regular customer visits, job-site walk-throughs, and lunch-and-learns
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales activity


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in plumbing supply, building materials, or mechanical distribution sales
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, products, and contractor workflows
  • Proven ability to grow and manage a book of business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in the field
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales tools
