Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a reputable organization in downtown Columbus, OH to hire an Entry-Level Accountant. This role is an excellent fit for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting. The position offers hands-on experience, exposure to a variety of accounting functions, and long-term growth potential. The client also provides convenient downtown parking.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing routine financial statements, schedules, and management reports.
- Enter and review financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and assist with budgeting tasks.
- Track and review material costs to support operational accuracy.
- Maintain accurate system pricing and update records as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Internship or up to one year of accounting-related experience.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational habits.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Pay Details: $46,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
